Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, hundreds of families across the community have struggled to afford everyday groceries. In response, Somali Community Inc. has stepped up its emergency food relief efforts to make sure no one goes without the essentials.

Over the past few months, SCI has delivered more than 400 food relief hampers to vulnerable families, each packed with non-perishable staples such as rice, flour, pasta, sugar, oil, oats, and more. This ongoing support forms part of the organisation's wider COVID-19 response, helping ease the financial pressure the pandemic has placed on so many households.
